Red Light Therapy Bed

A red light therapy bed looks like a tanning bed, but it has red LED lights instead of UV lights.

Red light therapy was developed by NASA and includes low-wavelength red-type bulbs to accelerate the process of tissue recovery and other forms of skin rejuvenation through an all-natural process. The low-light red bulbs penetrate the skin tissue to a depth of about 8-10mm, making it useful for skin problems such as scars, cuts, and best of all anti-aging.

Is red light therapy safe?

Red light therapy is safe and not associated with side effects, at least if used for a short time and according to instructions.

 Who should not use
red light therapy?

People taking medications that increase the sensitivity of their skin or eyes should not use red light therapy, as should people with a history of skin cancer, epilepsy, or eye disease. Talk to your doctor before using red light therapy.

Red light therapy may cause burns or blisters if the device is used for more than 20 minutes. The recommended treatment time is 15 minutes.
